Hey yall hey…
Our sweet Eureka Springs Town Greeter, James Duke, made an announcement recently that I don’t care for a’tall.
He said:
“I am pretty much an open book about myself. As most people know I had radiation that ended a year ago. Well the radiation did get rid of the cancer along with chemo. There were side affects. One was it destroyed my salivary glands which caused teeth loss. Well my teeth are falling out. Pretty sad about it and because of the damage from the radiation, it’s not just pulling teeth and getting dentures. What I’m saying is you may not seeing me around much as what needs to be done with dentures is expensive. I just want you all to know I love all of you!”
I know that I’m by far not alone when I say that I’d miss seeing his sweet charming self around town!!…that, and I hate the idea of him no longer LIVING LIFE to the FULLEST as he usually does!
Times are hard for everyone…I assure you that we alllll feel it…but if just half our locals could spare $10 bucks we could save this friend from hiding out in that cave!
Could we show him some love and spare a few bucks? Or leave him encouraging words so he knows we’ll love him regardless of dem teefs..
