Hi, my name is Viviana, and I’m writing this with tears in my eyes, because asking for help is something I never imagined I’d have to do like this.
My partner Adrian was recently diagnosed with cancer, and he’s now in the middle of chemotherapy. Watching someone you love go through something so painful is heartbreaking — but we’re holding onto each other and doing everything we can to stay strong.
While I care for him, I’m also facing my own health issues, which makes it harder to work full-time or keep up with everything. We’re doing our best with what little we have, but the truth is… we’re alone in this. We don’t have support from family, and many of the local resources we’ve reached out to are either overwhelmed or unable to help.
We are trying to survive day to day — just to keep a roof over our heads, food on our table, and get Adrian to and from his treatments.
Right now, we need help with:
• Rent, so we don’t lose our home during this critical time
• Groceries and daily needs, especially as Adrian’s body is so weak
• Medication and transportation, so he doesn’t miss a single chemo session
• Basic support while we both try to rest and heal
We’re not asking for anything more than just a chance to breathe again, to feel a little less afraid, and to keep going. Every donation, every share, every kind word — it reminds us that we’re not completely alone.
If you’ve ever been in a place where you had no one to turn to, you know how humbling this is. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for reading this, for seeing us, and for helping in any way you can.
With love and gratitude,
Viviana & Adrian
