Hi, my name is Katrina Brown. I am trying to help my parents during a very stressful time in all our lives.
My mom was diagnosed with Parkinson’s over 10 years ago. My dad dedicated his life with caring for her at home. During that time, medical bills started to take their toll as it became harder to pay them and still manage the daily costs of living– food, water, rent, electricity bills, etc.
Now.with my dad’s failing health and my mom’s steady decline, doctors found it necessary to place her in long-term care.
The medical bills, which include the cost of numerous transports by ambulance to and from the hospital have become more than they can handle on social security.
My dad is a proud man and has done his very best to manage. But now, he needs help. I am asking for him because the strain is more than he can bear.
