As many of you know, Rachel was diagnosed with breast cancer in late January of this year.
Since her diagnoses she and her daughter Sera have made several trips to Edmonton for appointments and surgery.
Rachel’s lumpectomy was successful in removing all of the margins containing cancer.
She is still healing from surgery and preparing to travel back down to Edmonton with Sera on June 25th for her first oncology appointment. Treatment will be radiation. Unfortunately due to Fort McMurray not offering radiation here she will have to travel to and from Edmonton and stay during the weeks for treatment.
As anyone can imagine this has been an extremely overwhelming and stressful process for both Rachel & Sera and their family.
We are hoping to raise money to help with the additional costs of travel and medical expenses to alleviate some of the financial stress.
