I’m trying to help raise money for my son, Jason, and my daughter-in-law, Kelly, to help them pay medical bills that aren’t covered by their insurance and to help them pay some of their monthly expenses that they are struggling to pay. Jason has been out of work since January 24th. He is on short-term disability, but his payments are less than 1/4 of his normal paychecks. On top of this, his wife, Kelly, has had some medical issues that caused her to be hospitalized and miss an extended period of work as well.
While all of this has been going on, their medical and monthly bills have been piling up. Now Jason has learned that his employer (First Solar in Decatur) is going to terminate his employment if he can’t return to work without any physical restrictions before July 24th. Right now, it looks like it would take a miracle for this to happen. If he can’t return to work by July 24th, he will be moved to long-term disability, but he will lose all of his benefits, including all health insurance coverage.
For now, we’re just asking for prayers and (for those who can) any help at all. Anyone who knows Jason knows that he is very stubborn and hates to ask for help. But we all need help sometimes. Thank you all for the prayers and any help you can give.
