Meet Vanessa (Nessa), a mother and grandmother (Gigi) whom is battling bone cancer and other varies illnesses. Vanessa is in shands hospital in the ICU, battling multiple life threatening illnesses such as bone cancer in her right knee, a cancerous adrenaline gland on her right kidney, enlargement of the left side of her heart and black swollen spots on her brain tissue. Vanessa has had sky rocketing blood pressure for five on going years but this past week has issued in her having a silent heart attack, which they believe has caused the swelling on her brain tissue; which is causing her to have vertigo symptoms. Vanessa has blue cross insurance that only covers minimal the expenses she’ll need to recover, with all her co-pays, MRI’s. CT scan, biopsy’s and many more test to get the answers she’s been awaiting for quite too long. Vanessa has battled cancer since 2010, rapidly spreading throughout different parts of her body. Her children Bronck, Terri & Destiny, along with her grandchildren (Liam, Weston & Braxton) who spend nearly their everyday lives with her, in hopes to get their mother to best care and doctors.
