Support Lindsay: A Heart for Cats and Care

To start off describing Lindsay’s story, Lindsay is by far the most selfless person I know. She is always putting others first, especially when it comes to her kitties in the rescue world. Many people know her for that specific reason.

Earlier this year, Lindsay suffered a major cardiac situation due to having pneumonia. She was rushed by ambulance to CC Main, where she stayed for over 10 days. Seven days ago, she was life-flighted back up and just went through a cardiac ablation. Lindsay started having heart issues back in 2004 when she endured her first MI, followed by her second. She was also diagnosed with a rare form of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (vascular). Since then, she has been in and out of hospitals with quite extensive care.

While that was happening behind the scenes, which many did not know about, she was spending her time in the feral/homeless kitty world in Tuscarawas County. When her cat Tiger went missing 5 years ago, her life was forever changed. Her journey began when she started searching for him, not realizing all the feral cat colonies out there in need of help. She started off by feeding a few different colonies she came across while looking for Tiger, then started making and providing shelter for them. She started meeting several people, which led to a few suppliers, from whom she got coolers to make shelters for stray and feral cat colonies in our area.

After a year of feeding and shelters, she wanted to do more. TNR was introduced to her, where she learned to Trap-Neuter-Return. After realizing the help she was taking part in on local lack of production in feral/stray cats in our area, she was sold. She started doing her own trapping and very quickly became someone who many wanted to turn to for help. She started rescuing and recently applied for her 501c3 called Tiger’s Mission in memory of her cat Tiger. Lindsay’s numbers are off the charts when it comes to TNRs, rescues, adoptions, etc. She has helped so many cats and numerous amounts of people who have reached out to her for help.

It’s time for us to help Lindsay and her family, whether it be for medical bills, help with meals, gas money for doctor visits, prescriptions, etc. Any little bit will help. Thanks!

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
