Help Mr. Rick Lunt—Beloved Choir Teacher, Mentor, and Friend

If you spent time at Spanish Fork High School or American Leadership Academy, chances are you know the name Rick Lunt. But if you were lucky enough to really know Mr. Lunt—if you stood in his choir room, heard his pep talks, or saw the fire in his eyes when the music came alive—you know he was far more than a teacher.

He was a builder of hearts, voices, and futures.

Rick didn’t just teach us music—he taught us to believe in ourselves. He showed us how to work hard, how to show up with passion, and how to be kind in a world that doesn’t always make it easy. He believed in his students when they couldn’t yet believe in themselves.

And now, he needs us to believe in him.

Rick is currently in the ICU in a diabetic coma, facing very serious health challenges. We are hoping and praying for the best, but the road ahead will be long and expensive. Between hospital stays, emergency care, and long-term recovery needs, the medical bills will be overwhelming.

We’re asking everyone who has ever been lifted by Rick’s love, leadership, or music to consider donating. Whether you sang in his choir, heard his jokes, or watched him light up a stage or classroom—if Rick Lunt touched your life, now is the time to give back.

Every donation—no matter the amount—makes a real difference. It will go directly toward covering Rick’s medical care and getting him back on his feet.

Rick has spent his life raising up others. Let’s raise him now.

Please donate if you can, and share this with anyone who knows the impact Rick has had on so many lives. Let’s come together for one of the best educators we have ever known.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
