In late 2023, I underwent two emergency surgeries to remove two tumors located in the middle cavities of my brain. Thankfully, the surgeries were successful, but they left me with unexpected complications. The tumors had damaged the nerve that controls my eye, and since then, I’ve been living with constant double vision. With this comes seeing double images, loss of depth perception, balance issues, eye pain, dizziness, and nausea. These symptoms aren’t occasional—they’re part of my daily life, all day, every day. It’s made even the simplest tasks exhausting and difficult.
It’s also taken me away from the job I’ve had for the past eight years. I work as a driver for FedEx, and with double vision, I’m no longer able to safely do the job I love and rely on. I’m now trying to get the specialized treatment needed to restore my sight and return to work. My next appointment will require me to travel to Austin—about 5 hours (or 302 miles) away—to see a specialist and attempt surgery this July. Unfortunately, the cost of travel, surgery, and ongoing care is more than I can manage on my own.
That’s why I’m asking for help—every donation will go directly toward medical and travel expenses to help me heal properly and hopefully see the world clearly again. Thank you so much for reading and supporting me—it truly means the world.
