My husband Joe is the strongest human I know! So when he couldn’t push through feeling ill and going to work, it was alarming. After a week of doctors trying to find an answer, they did. The answer was B cell Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia with a Philadelphia strain.
He is getting treatment at the best hospital for his condition. However, that is more than an hour’s drive from our home. With our car not being in a condition to make a drive that far, he has been fighting this battle with only God by his side so far.
This is going to be a long journey and it’s not going to be easy. As much as Joe and I hate asking others for help, we are in a position that we cannot be proud. There are repairs to our home that will need to be done to make sure that our home is a healthy environment for Joe to live in. Repairs we intended to do a little at a time now need to be done as quickly as we can. I am also in a bind with transportation for being able to visit him during this extended hospital stay.
Any little bit of help we could get would be more appreciated than I could express! We know that God is in control!
