My name is Jimi Hall. I am a husband, father of 3, and veteran, that has lost over 150 lbs. in the last year. I fell into a depression and battle with my mental health and PTSD. It almost took my life from me over the years. I have changed my lifestyle and have dedicated myself to being healthy for the sake of my children. Obesity is something that has always been a part of my life, from childhood to now, and most in my family.
Skin in the chest and stomach has become a hindering issue when it comes to comfort in clothing, travel, enjoying the beach and pool with my children, and other mentally debilitating things. I am asking for help to raise money to get the surgeries to finally give me the confidence to enjoy life with my family and to get rid of the past of obesity, for good, that has killed a lot of my family at a young age and effected me most of my life.
The doctors have quoted me at $30,000 to get both operations done. It is something that I simply can’t afford, due to raising a busy family. I hate to ask for a handout, but anything would help! If you can’t give, thanks for just reading my story! If you’re a parent, don’t let your children go down the path of obesity, like I was allowed to. It’s a mistake that can be fixed early in life, if taken care of!
