Michelle has always been the heart of our family, caring for her four children and making every holiday and birthday special for those she loves. She always goes out of her way to help and care for others. Her kindness and thoughtfulness are endless, and she’s the glue that holds our family together.
For years, Michelle has battled lupus and kidney disease, which has made it impossible for her to work. Earlier this year, I donated my kidney to her, and while we both recovered well from surgery, the financial challenges haven’t gone away. Michelle faces overwhelming medical bills, including the cost of two health insurances—Medicare, which is paid quarterly, and a secondary plan through her husband’s job, which is paid biweekly. The Medicare, which costs $600-800 per quarter, comes close to $2,500 a year. The secondary insurance is also over $5,500 a year.
On top of these, there are ongoing hospital and medication expenses. Despite her strength and resilience, the burden of these costs is a constant struggle.
Michelle dreams of going back to school and building a brighter future for her family, but right now, she needs help to get through this difficult time. Any support will go directly toward her medical bills and daily living expenses, helping her focus on her health and her children. Thank you for considering a donation to support Michelle and our family.
