Hi, my name is Andi, and I’m raising funds to access gender-affirming care — care that will allow me to finally feel at home in my own body.
This isn’t easy for me to ask. I’ve always been someone who tries to handle things on my own. But gender-affirming care is expensive, and without insurance coverage or support from those around me, I’m left facing something I can’t afford — but desperately need.
For years, I’ve struggled with dysphoria and the feeling that I was living in someone else’s skin. I’ve questioned, doubted, and hidden parts of myself out of fear, shame, or survival. But the truth has always been there: I know who I am. I know what I need to thrive. And I’m ready to step into that truth fully.
Transitioning, for me, isn’t about changing into someone new — it’s about finally being able to live as the person I’ve always been. The person who laughs a little louder when they feel seen. The person who looks in the mirror and doesn’t flinch. The person who doesn’t have to apologize for existing.
Right now, I’m trying to raise $5,000 to help cover:
HRT (hormone therapy) consultation and prescription costs
Ongoing labs and medical monitoring
Travel expenses to appointments
Any required mental health letters or provider assessments
Supplies (like syringes, alcohol pads, etc.)
Every single dollar helps — truly. If you can’t donate, just sharing this means the world to me. I’m so grateful for any support, whether it’s financial, emotional, or just words of encouragement. Thank you for seeing me. Thank you for believing in me.
With love and hope,
Andi
