Seeking Support for Friends in Need During a Difficult Time
I’m reaching out on behalf of my dearest friends, Penney and Jeff, who are facing an incredibly difficult time.
Penney and her husband Jeff have been lovingly caring for her father, Jack, who is living with Alzheimer’s. Just three weeks ago, their lives changed when Jeff was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. He has already begun chemotherapy, and the road ahead will be tough.
They live with their two dogs, Ash and Sage, who bring them comfort and companionship.
Penney is now carrying the heavy load of working full-time while caring for both her father and husband. Jeff’s diagnosis has also meant adjusting to a special diet, adding more stress and financial pressure.
Jack is a proud Army veteran who enjoys baseball and watching classic TV shows.
Penney finds peace in reading, walking her dogs, and is a dedicated fan of the University of Tennessee and the WNBA’s Indiana Fever.
Jeff has spent many years giving back to the Deaf community. He’s active in North Carolina’s Big Bear Baggers Deaf Cornhole group, woodworking, and is a supporter of the University of North Carolina and University of Oregon. Now, he’s fighting his toughest battle—cancer.
They need help. The weight of medical bills and dietary needs is becoming too much to carry alone. If you’re able to contribute financially, your support would make a meaningful difference during this overwhelming time.
Money will be directed to them through fundraiser.
Thank you so much for your kindness, love, and generosity.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Juliet
