Hi, my name is Reya .
Just a few months ago, I was working full-time at a small retail store. I loved helping people, greeting regulars, and earning enough to cover rent, food, and my medicine. I live alone, and I’ve always been proud of taking care of myself.
But life changed fast.
The store shut down unexpectedly. I lost my job. No severance, no backup. I’ve been applying everywhere since, but haven’t landed anything yet. My small savings vanished in just a few weeks, paying rent and keeping the lights on.
Then came the worst part: I started getting sick again. I have a chronic condition that needs regular medication. Without it, I get dizzy, weak, and struggle to even get out of bed. I’ve skipped doses just to stretch what I had left. The stress, the isolation… it’s been overwhelming.
Now, I’m behind on bills. My phone might get cut off. I’ve sold a few belongings just to buy groceries.
I never imagined I’d be in this position—asking strangers for help. But here I am, doing everything I can to stay strong.
If you can help, even with a small amount, it would mean the world to me. It would go directly toward my medicine and keeping a roof over my head. If you can’t donate, even sharing this helps more than you know.
