Hi everyone,
Five years ago, I had to ask for help when my beloved dog, Mowgli, needed an emergency surgery. So many of you stepped up and helped save him, and thanks to you he’s been living his happiest, goofiest life ever since.
Now, life has thrown us another heartbreaking curveball: Mowgli has been diagnosed with a soft tissue sarcoma which is a type of cancer that needs urgent treatment and a CT scan to plan the next steps. The scan alone costs around $4,000, and insurance has denied it, calling this cancer a pre-existing condition. Over the last two weeks, we have been in and out of emergency vet visits along with an emergency surgery on June 3rd to have a mass removed.
Mowgli is my whole world, my best friend, my family and my comfort through everything. I never imagined we’d be here again asking for help, but I would do anything to give him more healthy, pain-free years.
If you can donate, share, or simply send us some love, it means more than words can say. Every dollar will go directly to his vet bills and care. Thank you for caring about Mowgli and helping him fight for more adventures.
