Help Friend Reclaim Health and Stability

My friend is trying to break clean of an abusive relationship. Her ex has never followed his end of the bargain. He consistently does not follow the legal settlement, and has stolen from her for years to pay his bills. He lies and falsely accuses her.

They share custody of their daughter. Right now, she has nowhere to live unless her ex doles out enough for a few days. He has all of her belongings.

She has a law firm ready to file motions, but does not have funds for the retainer. She could use some basic goods for staying hopeful and able to take this on. She has made use of free services along the way. The court is ready to garnish his wages.

I know this can be confusing and is fraught with questions. I am her person right now. We are helping how we can, and we mainly want her to be able to find a place to live (she has job offers) and enforce her legal agreement.
